Hello, and welcome back to pseudojustin.com!
I’ve taken a long hiatus from having any presence online. I think the last real post I wrote was about developing Detective Detective Detective some 8 years ago, but aside from a smattering of year-end best lists, I’ve been dormant.
But not anymore. I’m back! The Wizard is Back™!*
I’ve got a new lease on life, and that’s not just an expression. This past year has been pretty detrimental in a lot of ways with the state of the world and the state of my own health. But it’s also been a major wake-up call for me, creatively-speaking.
I’ve got a number of projects going now, so I wanted to open this page back up to serve as a kind of running production journal on all of them. Ostensibly, this is part of a 5-year plan I’ve been building in a master class I’m taking at the American Film Institute in hopes of formally launching some kind of a film career.
While this is not necessarily for any kind of an audience, you’re more than welcome to follow along. This is more for my own accountability. I want to commit to at least a weekly post on what I’ve worked on that week to keep tabs on how things are coming along in regards to these respective projects.
Will any of this make a difference? Check back in 5 years to find out!
